Saphirus Nodo is a timepiece out of the ordinary, conceived as a meeting between haute horology and material art. The case, case back and glass are entirely made in lab-grown sapphire: a crystalline structure that enfolds the movement and lets light filter in from every angle, creating reflections and transparencies of extraordinary purity. An object almost sculpted in light. At the center of the multi-level dial, a handwoven fabric stabilized in pastel tones is crossed by embroidery and motifs recalling traditional textile techniques. The weaves and shades create a rich composition of depth and matter, turning each piece into an object with strong artistic character — no two fabrics are alike. The heart is the automatic Swiss Made Sellita SW300-1 skeleton with decorations, visible both on the dial and through the transparent case back: a high-end caliber that reveals bridges, components and rotor in motion, celebrating Swiss watchmaking mechanics in harmony with Italian textile craftsmanship.
