Old Perth - The Original, 12yo & Cask Strength - 70cl - 3 bottles

Exclusive Auction: Premium Lot of Old Perth – Original, Cask Strength, and 12 Year Old for collectors of balanced and powerful blended Scotch malts! This select lot comprises 1 bottle of Old Perth Original, 1 bottle of Old Perth Cask Strength, and 1 bottle of Old Perth 12 Year Old. All are from the Old Perth range (a renowned blended Scotch malt, bottled by an independent house using grapes from select Speyside and Highland distilleries). The bottles are standard size (70 cl), with original labels intact, excellent fill levels, and impeccable condition – perfect for blended malt collectors, comparative tastings, or expanding a premium collection with different levels of intensity and aging. Star Item 1: Old Perth Original Blended Malt Scotch Whisky. The entry-level expression of the range, a balanced and approachable blended malt, matured in select oak casks. • Profile: A nose of red apple, pear, honey, creamy vanilla, toffee, and hints of sweet cereal; on the palate, smooth and rounded with ripe fruit, caramel, gentle spices, and a medium finish with lingering sweetness and clean elegance. • Style: Approachable, luscious, and versatile – ideal for everyday sipping, highballs, or as an introduction to blended malts. Star Piece 2: Old Perth Cask Strength Blended Malt Scotch Whisky. Undiluted version (cask strength), which enhances the intensity and complexity of the Original. • Profile: A more concentrated nose with stewed fruit, burnt caramel, toasted oak, dark honey, and pronounced spices; on the palate, powerful and full-bodied with rich vanilla, toffee, subtle chocolate, spices (cinnamon, pepper), and a long finish with warmth and depth. • Style: Bold and expressive – perfect for sipping neat (with a few drops of water to open it up) or for those seeking more intensity and character. • Style: Bold and expressive – perfect for sipping neat (with a few drops of water to open it up) or for those seeking more intensity and character. Star Piece 3: Old Perth 12 Year Old Blended Malt Scotch Whisky. An expression aged for 12 years, with greater maturity and refinement thanks to its time in the cask. • Profile: An elegant nose with dried fruits (raisins, figs), deep vanilla, fine oak, caramel, and sweet spices; a balanced and complex palate with gourmand sweetness, toffee, chocolate, nuts, and a long, persistent, and silky finish. • Style: Mature, refined, and contemplative – ideal for sipping neat or as a premium digestif. This trio offers an excellent progression: from the balanced and approachable Original, to the powerful and undiluted Cask Strength, to the mature and complex 12 Year Old. They represent consistent Old Perth quality, with great value for vertical tastings or a collection of blended Scotch malts. Bid on this legendary lot – liquid treasures of Scotland in their purest form!
