Paired with the robust Caliber 565 and a classic tonneau case, it is a charming and reliable vintage watch. History The Omega Seamaster line has long been celebrated for its durability and enduring design. By the early 1970s, Omega was producing distinctive tonneau or barrel-shaped cases, such as the reference 166.067, which offered a substantial presence on the wrist. This era also saw the use of the highly regarded Caliber 565, a 24-jewel automatic movement known for its reliability and practical date complication. Examples featuring unique dial textures, like the "stardust" or "sparkle" finishes, remain particularly appreciated by collectors for their dynamic visual character.
