Onkyo - D-055 / 2-Way Bass-Reflex Compact Bookshelf Speaker set

The Onkyo D-055 is a compact 2-way bass-reflex monitor speaker set, originally supplied with the high-quality CS-series mini hi-fi systems from Onkyo. Despite the modest size, these speakers deliver an adult, balanced sound with tight bass response thanks to Onkyo's N-OMF (New Onkyo Micro Fiber) woofer cone. This material combines aramid fibers with a cotton intermediate layer for fast response and minimal distortion in the mid- and low-frequency ranges. The cabinets are finished in a warm wood grain and feature a bass-reflex port on the rear and sturdy, gold-plated speaker terminals suitable for banana plugs. Important note about the condition: The finish on the front panels (front baffles) feels somewhat sticky due to aging of the rubber-like coating; the front side could therefore use a good cleaning. Technically and acoustically the speakers are fully in order. Condition: Nice condition with normal light signs of age on the wooden enclosure. The front feels a bit sticky and deserves a cleaning. Technically and acoustically 100% working and tested; the drivers and cones are in good condition.
