Onofre Alarcón 1969 - "Ecosystem" #180- XL NO RESERVE

“Ecosystem”, O.A. #180 Acrylic on canvas · 110 × 110 cm · Ideal for a 100 × 100 × 3.5 cm cradle/ stretcher. Ecosystem represents an ancestral universe where fauna, nature and primitive symbols coexist in a balance full of energy and movement. Deer, birds, fish and schematic figures are distributed among bands of blue, turquoise, yellow and green, building an imaginary landscape that evokes the interconnection between living beings and their environment. The geometric sun presides over the composition as a symbol of origin and life. Through gestural strokes, chromatic contrasts and a rupestrian-inspired aesthetic, O.A. fuses Neo-Expressionism and Neorupestrism, reinterpreting humanity’s earliest visual languages from a contemporary perspective. A work that celebrates diversity, connection and the balance of life. Unique and Original Work. Each painting is a unique creation, shipped directly from my studio. I use high-quality acrylics and oils and innovative mixed techniques, including dripping, waxes, acrylic markers, ballpoint pens, rollers, brushes and spatulas. This combination allows me to achieve distinctive strokes and textures that bring my works to life. To facilitate framing, each canvas includes an additional 5-centimeter margin on all sides. The edges are finished with a wraparound coating, allowing the work to be appreciated in full, whether framed with a float/made-to-measure frame or unframed. To ensure durability and protect colors from UV rays, each painting receives a high-quality satin varnish. The images are for illustration and may not reflect the exact scale of the work, so please carefully review the real dimensions indicated. Likewise, the colors shown on screen may differ slightly from the original tones of the work; in person, it’s always better. Safe Shipping and Certificate of Authenticity Paintings are carefully shipped rolled, in secure packaging, to facilitate transport. Each shipment includes a printed certificate of authenticity, signed by me, Onofre Alarcón (O.A.), attesting to the exclusivity and originality of the work. About me: “I am a Spanish self-taught visual artist, based in Alicante, driven by an unwavering passion for creative freedom and spontaneous expression. My creative process feeds on a relaxed and stimulating environment, where chill-out music accompanies me, allowing me to channel my energy and give my best in every brushstroke. I’m especially drawn to the Expressionist style, where emotion and subjectivity take center stage. Proximity to the Mediterranean has deeply influenced my work, leading me to capture the beauty and strength of the sea on numerous canvases. Additionally, rock art is a constant source of inspiration, and its primitive, essential lines often appear in my creations. I consider myself a constantly evolving artist, exploring new techniques and styles, with vast creative potential. Each work is another step on my artistic journey, pushing me to reach new goals.” Artist CV 1st prize in the poster contest for the Moros y Cristianos fiestas of Elda, 2017. 2nd place in the poster contest for the Hogueras de San Juan de Alicante, 2005. Annual collaboration with the cultural movement Art al Balcó since 2020, contributing large-format works. Author of the official poster and the cover of the 2025 Semana Santa (Holy Week) book for San Juan de Alicante. Solo exhibition: “La Búsqueda” (The Search), 2024 at the House of Culture of the City Council of San Juan de Alicante.
