Opaline Florence - Vase - Glass

Handblown in the historic district of Empoli near Florence, this opaline glass vase transforms the vibrant energy of 1970s Italian Space Age design into a fluid, sculptural statement. Streams of vivid orange and rich green swirl across a milky white base, creating a dynamic interplay of color that feels incredibly modern and energetic. This piece, meticulously crafted by Vetreria Barbieri for the Opaline Florence catalog, perfectly captures the expressive studio glass aesthetic popularized by Carlo Moretti in the same era. Its distinctive fire-polished rim and heavy, authentic presence make it an exceptional standout for collectors of Italian mid-century art glass or as a focal accent in contemporary interiors.
