The object stands out for its refined bulbous yet elongated form, equipped with a shaped pouring spout and a hinged lid topped by an elegant apical knob. The bow-shaped handle is finely wrapped in antique interwoven vegetal fiber, a craftwork designed both to enhance aesthetics and to insulate from heat during service. On the surface of the silver are clearly visible the guarantees hallmarks of French silver at .950 and the maker’s mark of the goldsmith Rudolphe Beunke.
