Oscar Leonor (1976) - Pareja en sillón (XL)

Couple on a Sofa is a Cubist-inspired work that plays with the rhythms of abstraction and geometric shapes as well as with the textures of flowing acrylic. Built from improvisation with the aim of recreating a scene starring a man and a woman united through an element to which the painter frequently resorts as a compositional aid, and that element is none other than the sofa. The work is delivered without a frame (professional packaging, rolled in a tube). Your local framer should restretch it and mount it on a frame. The indicated measurements are those of the painting once stretched and mounted on a frame. The actual canvas dimensions are larger to allow for mounting. Hand-signed on the front. Includes certificate of authenticity. You can follow the artist's work on his Instagram profile: https://www.instagram.com/oscarleonor/ Artistic career, main exhibitions.
