Outdoor bench - Monumental XXL cast-iron garden bench –...

An exceptionally imposing and richly decorated cast-iron garden bench, executed in a distinctly classical and Victorian-inspired style. This heavy, monumental bench immediately stands out for the enormous amount of ornamental details. Almost every component is elaborately decorative, giving the bench the appearance of an exclusive object from a country estate, orangery, or classical garden. The tall open backrest features graceful rococo, floral, and scroll motifs, combined with a repeating classical lattice pattern. The armrests align perfectly with it and are also richly adorned with ornaments. The seat itself is also fully openworked and decorated. At the bottom runs a heavy decorative molding, while the front legs are fashioned in strong curved forms with extensive ornamentation. The deep black finish emphasizes the reliefs and gives the bench a very luxurious and stately appearance. This is not a standard garden bench, but a true statement piece that comes into its own in a large garden, at a country house, on a terrace, in an orangery, at a hotel or restaurant, or as a decorative object in an exclusive interior. Due to the generous dimensions, weight, and very rich detailing, the bench has an especially impressive presence. The photos are part of the description and show the many details up close. The bench bears signs of use in keeping with the material and the character of the object.
