It is crowned by a superb carved pediment featuring a stylized shell and finishes at the bottom with small curved console feet. The gilding presents a very beautiful luminous patina with light signs of time that highlight its authenticity and history. The back of the mirror also testifies to an old and meticulous manufacture, with its original parquet backing in horizontal solid wood boards, characteristic of fine 19th-century carpentry techniques.
