Pablo Picasso (1881-1973) - “Le Coq-Detail, 1907”. - 60 x 50 cm.

Picasso: “Le Coq-Detail, 1907”. Authorized screen print. Condition: the work is in excellent condition. Format: 60 x 50 cm. The high-quality screen print underscores the graphic quality of the motif and gives the work a clear, pronounced presence. Picasso's abbreviated animal depictions belong to the most charming examples of his playful drawing. With a few precise lines the artist manages to capture movement, character and expression in an impressive way. The motif “Le Coq-Detail" from 1907 comes from a particularly fascinating early phase of Picasso's creation, in which his experimental formal language was already taking shape. Works from this period are regarded as especially interesting for collectors because they form the basis for later, style-defining developments. The depiction persuades with its reduced, expressive line-work and a direct, lively visual effect. It is precisely the animal depictions from this phase that possess their own character and clearly diverge from later, strongly abstracted works. Never framed and kept in a dark archival storage between protective acid-free paper. The shown photos are part of the description.
