Pakistan - Rug - 183 cm - 150 cm - Neuer Ziegler Farahan

ew – extravagant Designer Ziegler Farahan in black with an expressive palmette pattern Hand-knotted rug from Pakistan, 183 × 150 cm, with a pile of 100% wool on a cotton foundation. The black field showcases the generous, differently worked palmettes to impressive effect. Fine tendrils, leaves and small flowers connect the ornaments. The light, richly decorated border frames the pattern and forms a harmonious contrast to the dark ground. Particularly notable are the extraordinary suppleness, the softly falling texture, and the pleasant feel of the wool. The draping shots illustrate these properties. Depending on the incidence of light, individual palmettes and details emerge differently and reveal the lively play of light on the pile. Condition: New. A close-up of the backside with a laid-out scale allows you to assess the fineness of the knotting and the craftsmanship yourself. Original label and certificate are present. The photos are part of the description.
