Henri-Dominique Furois is a renowned French bindery artist noted for his original creations, contemporary structures and the care given to precious editions and major texts of the 20th century. A rare and precious pairing bringing together two original editions of Panait Istrati published by Rieder in 1933 in very low edition numbers. The set has been luxuriously encased in a half-leather binding with corners and a personalized tail stamp, testifying to the care bestowed by a bibliophile on this collection.
