Panamarenko - Special Paradox

Litho-offset on heavy-weight paper Dimensions 84 cm by 60 cm This is an original print proof, the original to the numbered edition. Year of publication: 2001 Reference: mention in the Panamarenko book with illustrations: "Drawing and Calculation" The 'Paradox' rises by blowing air into a parachute with a propeller, a bit like the captain of a sailing ship would want to propel himself forward by blowing hard into the sails. The air that enters the screen is not reflected back, but disappears through laterally placed, lance-shaped slits that function as small wings.
