Parastone - D'après Degas - Sculpture

THE LITTLE DANCER OF FOURTEEN YEARS (1881) The eye of the painter Degas weakened at the age of fifty; he was forced to rely more and more on his touch, and he found the solution in sculpture. Although he showed his works to almost no one in the last period of his life, he nevertheless decided, after spending two years working on the realization of The Little Dancer, to send it to the Impressionist exhibition in Paris. Height: 20 cm Width: 9 x 9 cm Beautiful finish and carefully crafted details. Brand new product, quickly delivered in its original packaging, with Certificate of Authenticity. DEGAS Edgar Degas (1834-1917) The life of the Parisian painter has known only a few dramatic moments. Eldest son of a wealthy family, this solitary, cynical and snobbish man had ample leisure to devote his life to art. He remained single as, according to him, love and work cannot be shared. His classical training is evident in his early works, notably the austere lines of his idol Ingres. While he established himself as a resolutely independent realist, he was very closely tied to the Impressionist revolution. The themes and techniques he developed constituted a synthesis between traditional painting and modern painting. Parastone has been successfully creating decorative objects for almost 50 years, some of timeless classical beauty and others more suited to prevailing trends. The museum piece collection presented under the name Mouseion constitutes an important part of the collection. In addition to faithful reproductions of major works of art, the Mouseion series also includes three-dimensional interpretations of paintings and drawings by many artists, from Hieronymus Bosch to Salvador Dalí. “decorative object, luxury item, table art, collector, interior decoration, statuette, sculpture, no panther, no Orlinski, no Koons, pop art, no Kong, no pompon” Photos are part of the description. This handsome object will add a touch of elegance to your interior. Fast and careful shipping.
