Paul Huf - Hommage à Rietveld

The dimensions of the Rietveld frame are 52 cm wide. For sale: A beautiful and rare photographic artwork by the iconic Dutch photographer Paul Huf (1924-2002). It concerns his world-famous work "Hommage à Rietveld" from 1983, in which a female nude poses with the legendary Zigzag Chair by Gerrit Rietveld. This is absolutely not a regular poster, but an official, limited and hand-signed anniversary edition from 1992. Unique features of this lot: Exclusive series: Part of the sought-after folder/portfolio 'Hommage - Women of Paul Huf - 1942-1992'. Edition number: This is number 41 from the limited series. Hand-signed: Manually signed and dated ('1983/1992') by Paul Huf himself on the back of the print (see certificate/photo sticker). Also bearing a signature on the matting. High-quality printing technique: It is an original Fresson / Kool print. The legendary French Atelier Fresson is worldwide known for this artisanal, pigment-rich process, which gives the photograph a unique, matte, almost painterly grain and an extremely long color depth and durability. Framing: The work is set in a sleek, minimalist, typical 80s/90s design frame that perfectly suits the geometry of Rietveld. Condition: The artwork and the signature are in very good and original condition. The black bars are slightly damaged in some areas. The back is equipped with the original, numbered certificate sticker. My late friend bought it some time ago in a gallery or exhibition. I unfortunately do not know where.
