(PERUVIAN CLASSIC) GOLDEN PYRITE Specimen - Height: 3 cm...

A wonderful pyrite specimen from the Peruvian high Andes, featuring crystals with octahedral habits, excellent luster, and complex surface textures over which discrete accents of matte black spheroidal sphalerite are set. Pyrites from Ancash have long been held as the best of the Americas, and along with the Spanish pieces from Navajún, they hold the podium for the best in the world.
