Title: Machinery Artist: Peter Klasen (1935-2010) Technique: lithograph signed in pencil Signature: pencil-signed at the bottom of the plate Format: 76x56 cm Condition: Excellent condition, some damp spots not reaching the plate. Peter Klasen (1935-2010) From 1955, Peter Klasen began learning lithography techniques and airbrushing. He enrolled at the Berlin University of the Arts. It was then an avant-garde school, benefiting from the presence of young professors trained in the spirit of the Bauhaus or German Expressionism, such as Hann Trier, an important painter of the informal school. He studied under Will Grohmann, Hans Richter and Karl Schmidt-Rottluff.
