Self-taught and instinctive, Pioch has developed a distinctive style that blends free figuration with elements of street art (urban art) and draws influences from Brut Art and outsider art. One could say that all of his works are a true open book to his life. He prefers to depict human emotion in his paintings rather than speak out or take a political stance in his creations. He is an authentic artist who tells his own story and, in parallel, ends up telling the lives of others.
