PIPE BOWL

Made of sea foam, the bowl features a relief decoration bearing the coat of arms of Charles of Austria-Teschen (1771–1847). The sculpted clasp finial is marked ‘Vegiato’. The mount is in 812°/°° silver (guaranteed 800). Austria-Hungary, Vienna, early 19th century. Unidentified silversmith’s mark: IW (?). Height: 12 cm – Width: 10 cm – Depth: 5 cm. Gross weight: 125 g (some minor damage, sold as is).
