Platter - Opaline glass

Platter - Opaline glass

Vintage opaline glass bowl with rose/gold flakes ca. 1950s–1960s Wonderful hand-blown vintage bowl, made of opaline art glass in a brilliant pink/white color. The bowl features an elegant organic, undulating form and is richly decorated with embedded rose/gold flakes (aventurine), creating a particularly sparkling and depth-enhancing effect when light passes through the glass. The combination of the vivid opaline color, the transparent rim, and the sparkling metallic inclusions makes this bowl a striking example of Italian glass art craftsmanship from the mid-20th century. Thanks to its sculptural form, the object is both a functional fruit bowl and a decorative artwork. Details: * Period: ca. 1950–1960 * Material: Hand-blown opaline glass * Decoration: Embedded rose and gold flakes (aventurine) * Color: Turquoise/blue with clear transparent accents * Condition: Excellent vintage condition, no chips.
