Alle Auktionen / Etnografica / Polychrome Jasper Freeform Sculpture from Madagascar...
atural multicolored jasper — Smooth free-form sculpture made from natural Madagascar jasper, weighing 1558 grams and standing 174 mm high. The piece presents an elegant, vertical, soft and slender shape, finished with a brilliant polish to maximize the colors and internal structures of the stone. The jasper shows a beautiful combination of warm tones: honey yellow, cream, ochre, brick red, orange, pale pink, and gray-green transitions, distributed in bands, veining, and more compact areas. The polished surface highlights the natural stratifications and the chromatic contrasts typical of Madagascar multicolored jasper. Some areas display concentric patterns, ferruginous spots, and fluid transitions that make the sculpture very decorative and interesting to observe from every side. The free form allows the stone to retain a natural character while being refined as an ornamental object. The base is stable and allows direct display on a piece of furniture, in a mineral collection, in a Wunderkammer, or as a natural decorative element. A very scenographic specimen, suitable for mineral collectors, enthusiasts of ornamental stones, and interiors furnished with carefully selected natural elements. Technical data Material: natural multicolored jasper Provenance: Madagascar Type: smooth free-form sculpture Weight: 1558 g Height: 174 mm Color: cream, yellow, ochre, red, orange, pink, gray-green Finish: polished and polished Category: minerals, ornamental stones, collectible decorative objects Status: worked and polished
