This 1940s cooler is in remarkably good condition and is still perfectly usable. The cooler is fitted with an affixed plaque bearing the text "Champagne Pommery & Greno". Beautiful professional-quality cooler. The bottom bears a stamp placed by the maker: ARGIT PARIS, Made in France Argit is an authority on champagne coolers and supplies virtually all the major houses. The material is silver-plated or nickel-plated brass. The exterior is in good condition, with normal signs of wear; the interior shows that the cooler has seen use, fully cleaned but retaining character and patina.
