POPPIES AND CORNFLOWERS IN THE FIELD by Maria Tuzhilkina Painting 19.6 x 19.6 :: The bright lights of cornflowers and poppies in the field glow flicker play in the wind. They mix with straw grass then hide then come to the fore. The picture is painted in the technique of geometric cubism. Flowers are made in cold pink purple ultramarine shades. Delicate warm straw light green background is a contrast for bright colors. They are casually scattered across the field in a chaotic manner. The edges of the picture are drawn and you can immediately place it in the interior.
