Large jar with handle dating from the late 17th / early 18th century. Old red stoneware jug with handle. Stout body resting on a flat base, short straight neck. A vertical handle starts from the shoulder to join the lip. Lip with a rounded edge, slightly pinched to form a pouring spout. Intended to contain liquid foods. Central Europe, late 17th / early 18th century. Dimensions : Height 28.3 cm - Width 20.2 cm Excellent condition, no restoration. Provenance : Netherlands, Galerie D.J.G.
