Precious White Gold Ring with Pink Sapphire & Diamonds, ca. 1970

When you think of sapphires, the first thing that comes to mind is blue gemstones. However, the range of colours that genuine sapphires have to offer is far greater! Depending on the deposit and the elements involved in the formation of the stones, sapphires can occur in almost every colour of the rainbow. Sapphires with particularly expressive colours are especially sought after, which is why we are especially pleased with the beautiful, bright pink, all-natural sapphire in this vintage white gold ring. The precious pink sapphire in a cushion-shaped facet cut is set very discreetly by small lobes and nestles wonderfully in a classically designed ring head that sparkles spectacularly with ten white diamonds. The diamonds surround the sapphire in a stylish entourage, so that the entire ring head shines with countless reflections of light. The ring, which we discovered in Munich and which immediately impressed us with its quality and the beauty of the rare sapphire, was created in the 1970s. It comes with an appraisal from the German Association for Gemstone Evaluation .
