Named after gemologist George Frederick Kunz, this elegant stone gets its signature pastel pinkish-purple to rich lavender hues from trace amounts of manganese within its chemical structure...: Color Shifting (Pleochroism): Kunzite is highly pleochroic. Depending on the angle you look at the crystal, it shifts from pale pink to deep violet, or even appears completely colorless. From Afghanistan Weight : 76 Size : 62x31x20mm
