Qajar / Kashmir - Quran - 1840

Very beautiful Qajar-era Qur'anic manuscript from the 19th century, attributable to the early Qajar period. The first two pages are richly illuminated with gouache and 18-karat gold. Several pages also feature beautiful decorations and Qur'anic illuminations. The manuscript has its original leather binding. Note: a few pages are missing at the end of the manuscript. 350 pages 14 x 9 cm
