Quick et Flupke T5 - Gamins de Bruxelles - 5e série - 1...

This lot concerns the fifth album of Quick et Flupke, 'Gamins de Bruxelles - 5e série' in the second edition from 1942. It concerns here a rare so-called war edition, published in the middle of WW II. The printing can be recognized among other things by the back (BDM A18) and also the dark blue endpapers. Detail description states: very beautiful to excellent condition! Cover and spine are very neat, with light (!) discolorations and the corners only slightly rubbed. The book block is absolutely in excellent condition, likewise with some light discolorations. Furthermore there is hardly any creases or the like. Very neat album. Also to mention: pages 75/76 were at the time not correct or too widely cut. The page is somewhat larger than the rest, and is folded inward to preserve it.
