About the work… In this new version of ‘Take My Hand’, the scene is set against a background that combines two of the most representative buildings in Barcelona: Casa Batlló and the Mercat de Sant Antoni. The piece thus unites two worlds —classic art through architecture and urban art— in a single image. The figures, inspired by traditional sculpture, contrast with wings full of color and graffiti, a symbol of freedom, youth and creativity. The city appears as a space where history and contemporary expression coexist, where the monumental and the street meet. The result is a piece that speaks of inspiration, learning, and how art can bridge the past and the present, between tradition and the contemporary. At the end of the advertisement you can see the original photographs of these two icons of Barcelona.
