Rae Postcard from Titanic Victim Austin Partner

Incredibly desirable Postcard written aboard the Titanic by 1st class passenger Austin Partner to his son Collin April 11th, 1912. "Did you see the ship go along today. I could see Selsey so plainly--Best love from father." The card at one time was glued face down to an album page so there is damage to the from of the card. Also included is a letter from the National Disaster Relief Fund sent to Mrs. Partner 5/30/1952 regarding the Titanic Fund informing her that instead of the three checkup visits a year one would now suffice and that if she falls ill, etc. let the fund know so they could give more assistance. Significant lot of two pieces. Estimate $4,000 - $8,000
