RAPHAËL MONNET - EMERGENCE - XXL

Unique and original work, hand-painted by Raphaël Monnet Raphaël Monnet develops contemporary abstract painting in which color becomes material, rhythm and movement. He approaches the canvas as an experimental space. The painting is projected, accumulated and confronted with opposing colors. The impacts cross, some areas densify while others let the background breathe. His process does not rely on a pre-prepared image, but on progressive construction. Each intervention leads to the next until the emergence of a balance between apparent disorder and pictorial organization. Based in the Léo Varek workshop in France, Raphaël Monnet continues his research around projection and the superposition of colors. His works have an immediate presence at a distance and reveal, when approached, a multitude of details, nuances and unexpected encounters between pigments. Each canvas results from a unique process. The trajectory of projections, the distribution of matter and the interactions between colors can never be reproduced identically. Details of the work Technique: acrylic painting Support: cotton canvas Original work entirely handmade Unique edition Signed on the front Certificate of authenticity signed included Format and presentation The indicated dimensions correspond to the total size of the canvas. A painted peripheral edge is intended to be folded over the sides of the frame, without encroaching on the main composition. Some images show the work in situ to facilitate its projection into an interior. They are created using the ArtStage presentation software which makes IA mockups. Proportions may slightly vary according to the setups. Please refer to the dimensions indicated in the description to know the actual size of the work. The edges are partially painted and allow a clean finish after mounting. Shipping The work is shipped rolled in a rigid protective packaging, without stretcher or frame. Slight creases may appear upon receipt. This is perfectly normal for a canvas shipped rolled. These marks naturally disappear once tensioned. For optimal results, it is recommended to have the canvas mounted on a frame by a local framer. Shipments are carried out by express courier — DHL, FedEx or equivalent — with tracking until delivery. Some destinations may incur additional shipping fees beyond my control. In that case, the buyer will be informed before shipping to adjust the fees if necessary. Without approval of these fees, the shipment cannot be made. Additional information Colours may vary slightly depending on screen settings and shooting conditions. Frame not included.
