Rare Chinese oxblood vase (Langyao / Sang de Boeuf) – Late Qing Dynasty / Republican period (ca. 1880–1930) Description: Fine, rare ceramic vase in a classic Apple Jar form with deep red oxblood glaze (Langyao Hong). The vase exhibits all typical and sought-after features of an antique original piece: Classic glaze progression: deep copper oxide red with a fine craquelé texture and the characteristic light/white lip (White Lip). Authentic base execution: Unglazed foot ring with visible, fine wheel ridges and a dense beige-gray body glaze. Manufacturing traces: Natural glaze edge chipping/drips at the very bottom edge as evidence of traditional high-temperature firing technique. Details: Origin: China (Jingdezhen) Dating: Late Qing Dynasty to Republic period (ca. 1880–1930) Dimensions: ca. 13 cm x 12 cm Condition: Good, age-appropriate condition.
