Redbeard Comic Book - The End of the "Black Falcon" - Dargau - Lot 70

Redbeard Comic Book - The End of the "Black Falcon" - Dargaud Reprint, 1975 Comic book album *The Demon of the Caribbean*—an adventure of Barbe-Rouge, titled *The End of the "Black Falcon"*, written by Jean-Michel Charlier and illustrated by Victor Hubinon. A beautiful vintage hardcover reprint published by Dargaud in the mid-1970s. Copy details: Publisher: Dargaud Éditeur Effective legal deposit date: 3rd quarter of 1975 (No. 1006) Original copyright: © Dargaud Éditeur 1969 ISBN: 2-205-00375-5 Printer: Printed in Italy - F.lli Pagano - Genoa Back cover: The list of titles “Already Published” engraved on the back concludes with *La Captive des Mores* (published in late 1973), which perfectly confirms the chronology of this edition, printed during 1975. Overall Condition: The album is in good condition, both in terms of use and preservation. Covers: The front cover retains a lovely freshness, featuring an illustration of a naval duel with rich, well-contrasted original colors. The back cover, on a white background, remains very clean, despite slight scattered soiling and minimal signs of handling on the surface. Corners and edges: Slightly rubbed at the extremities, but the cardboard structure of the original binding remains firm and sound. Interior: The interior is clean and sound, and the block of pages is firmly bound to the cover. A very fine vintage copy, ideal for seamlessly complementing a collection of classic maritime tales by the Charlier/Hubinon duo.
