Splendid and rare original vintage advertising poster designed by René Vincent (1879–1936) for the famous Paris department store Au Bon Marché, promotional for the summer fashion collections (Toilettes d'Été). Artist: René Vincent (signed on the plate bottom left). Printer: Imp. DUVAL ET BÉDOS, 14, Av. Félix Faure - Paris / Publicité WALLACE. Era: Circa 1925–1930. Style: Art Deco. Support: Linen-backed canvas (conservation linen). Backing: Linen-backed canvas (conservation). Dimensions: H 135 cm x W ~180 cm (large two-panel format / two-sheet poster). Condition and Details: The poster was originally printed on two separate sheets of paper (standard technique of the era for large formats) and subsequently mounted on a conservation frame/linen. The colors and color range (vivid red, gold, black and green) are bright and well preserved. Small signs of aging and the central crease are imperceptible when the poster is laid out; overall excellent condition (A- / B+).
