The Revue Thommen Diver XL combines a black, highly legible dial with a red diving bezel and a solid stainless steel bracelet. The red bezel gives this version a sporty touch without taking away from the clean and functional design. Revue Thommen was founded in Switzerland in 1853 by Gédéon Thommen. The company initially concentrated on mechanical watches and its own movements, before expanding into aviation instruments during the 1920s. That history of precision engineering is an important part of the identity of the brand today. The 17571.2136 is powered by the Swiss Made Sellita SW200 automatic movement with 26 jewels. The movement is housed in a 316L stainless steel case measuring 42 mm in diameter and 12.65 mm thick. The black dial has luminous indexes and hands, with the date positioned at 3 o’clock. For a diver, the construction is particularly impressive. The watch has a screw-down crown and case back, sapphire crystal with a magnifying lens over the date and water resistance rated at 30 ATM / 300 metres.
