English, 1970, Ridgway Steelite. Vitreous china cup in white glaze produced for the Women's Royal Army Corps (WRAC). The body features a blue transfer-printed insignia depicting a central upward-pointing pheon flanked by two stylized shapes forming the Roman numeral VII, set above a horizontal chain-link border. The base bears a printed black mark consisting of four upward-pointing triangles above the text RIDGWAY STEELITE, followed by VITREOUS CHINA, HOTEL WARE, ENGLAND, REGD TRADE MARK 738990, and the number 70. Dimensions: See Desc. Provenance: Museum of Miami Collection, known for its extensive archives, manuscripts, and visual materials documenting the region's history.
