Vintage "Ballerina" ring in 18kt white gold with blue sapphire and diamonds (Brilliant cut and baguette) belonging to my aunt from the 1920s. The ring is in excellent condition. The central blue stone appears to be an oval/cushion sapphire of about 8–10 mm in length and 6–8 mm in width. With these dimensions, the sapphire could be roughly in the 2–4 carat range, depending mainly on the stone’s depth. Central sapphire: about 2.50 ct. Surrounding diamonds: about 1.20 ct total. Diamond color (white scale). Diamond clarity: (presence of small inclusions). Around it there are several diamonds, some round and at least a couple baguette-cut. Ballpark, the total diamond weight could be around 0.8–1.5 ct total, but this part is even harder to estimate from a photograph. If it were therefore: - setting in 18 kt white gold or platinum; - natural sapphire of about 2–4 ct; - natural diamonds totaling about 1 ct or more; Splendid and elegant ladies' ring model "Ballerina" in 18kt white gold (750/1000). The jewel features at the center a magnificent sapphire of deep, intense blue, with oval/cushion cut. The extraordinary artisanal craftsmanship stands out in the rich surrounding of diamonds, cleverly alternating: a corona of round brilliant-cut diamonds blends with baguette-cut diamonds arranged laterally, creating a marvelous play of light and symmetry typical of high-end vintage jewelry. The item comes from a precious family collection and has been kept in excellent condition.
