Alle Auktionen / Sonstige / Rio/ Daalderop Tiel - Tea service (5) - Tin
Art Deco tea service manufactured by Rio in Tiel, Netherlands. Around 1925. Rio was a spin-off of the very well-known metal and tin factory Daalderop and shared many of their models. This specific model 232½ is a transitional model where Daalderop and Rio used the same molding dies. Teapot with a hinged lid and with a reed-wrapped handle that is still completely intact, which is remarkable for its age. Nickel-plated alboid. (a mix of tin/copper zinc). Sugar pot and milk jug, spoon vase and tea can with lid. In perfect condition. Comparable set in the regional museum Tiel, Netherlands.
