Rio Tiel - Jardinière - Brass - Art Deco jardinière

Brass cache-pot or planter – Rio Tiel Manufacture (Netherlands) Elegant brass cache-pot or planter from the Rio Tiel factory in the Netherlands, renowned for the quality of its decorative productions from the 1920s-1930s. Its harmonious shape, its elaborately worked leaf-shaped handles and the raised frieze give it a strong character and a refined presence. The original varnish, traditionally applied, durably protects the metal from oxidation when in contact with humidity or water, thus preserving its beautiful patina. The item shows a small crack (visible in the photo) as well as slight dings barely noticeable depending on the angle of the light, due to its age. These marks do not affect its solidity or its use. It is supplied with its protective underpot, which prevents water loss from overwatering. An authentic piece, both decorative and functional, that will enhance an interior with elegance. Dimensions Height 16 cm Diameter approximately 28 cm without the handles.
