Roman Empire - Theodosius I (379-395). Gold solidus (4.06 g. 20 mm.). Aquileia mint, 387-388 D N THEODOSIVS P F AVG. Diademed, draped and cuirassed bust right. VICTORIA AVGG. Two emperors enthroned facing forward, holding a globe above a palm branch between them. Behind, a bust of Victory with wings spread. A / Q at sides, COM in exergue. RIC 40b; Depeyrot 185, 21/2. Choice very fine, nice colour, was used as jewel but no fisically evidences, just only the patina slightly rubbed. 12608. 2026-8473
