Ca. 100 BC - AD 100. > A gold pendant with an oval mount featuring a raised inner collet and a broad rim decorated with alternating triangular clusters of granules and granulated rosettes. The central setting encloses a layered agate cameo carved in relief with the head of a Black African in profile to the left, with tightly curled hair, deep-set eyes, a prominent brow and full lips.
