Magnificent and rare complete Communion box, presented in its original satin-lined, gold-toned, quilted case. All leather goods are coordinated, crafted in genuine dark caramel / marbled brown leather with geometric gold trim. This vintage set, very well preserved, includes: • The Evangelists' Missal: Prestige edition printed in Bordeaux by Imprimeries Delmas, published by Droguet et Ardant (Limoges). Mention of the legal deposit dated 1953. Note: the book bears a touching handwritten dedication dated 2001 on the flyleaf. Superb Vintage Leather Communion Box (1953) – Missal & accessories with handwritten dedication indicate that this 1953 box was passed on or given again in 2001, adding a unique touch of family history. • The leather handkerchief holder: Still contains its original ceremonial white handkerchief, delicately embroidered with pink flowers and edged with lace. • The leather rosary case: Compact, matching small case. • The original rosary: Complete rosary with white nacre beads and a silver chain, with a engraved heart and its metal crucifix. • The carrying case: Sturdy rigid case with a brown, grained leather look and functional clasps. Exceptional condition for an ensemble of more than 70 years. The leather remains flexible and sound, the gilding is bright, and the missal is pristine.
