S.T. Dupont - Encendedor de mesa (Desk Lighter)...

A0000005432 TABLE LIGHTER S.T. DUPONT "SKYSCRAPER" GOLD-PLATED (FRANCE, 1970s): We present at auction an authentic symbol of status and elegance from the 1970s: a striking S.T. Dupont desk lighter, known among collectors as the "Skyscraper" model for its spectacular architectural and vertical design. Unlike pocket models, this piece was conceived to preside over executive offices and luxury salons. It stands out for its formidable dimensions: 14 cm tall, 4 cm wide, and 1.4 cm thick, giving it an extraordinary weight and presence in the hand. The entire body is coated with a sumptuous yellow gold finish and masterfully decorated with the iconic Guilloché pattern "Pointes de Diamant" (Diamond Tips) of the French house, creating a dazzling play of light and reflections. At the base of the lighter lie all the marks of authenticity: the signature "S.T. Dupont de PARIS", "MADE IN FRANCE", the maker’s punch, and its individual serial number. Condition (Expert Review) We ask bidders to carefully observe the photographic gallery, which is a fundamental part of the description. The item is in magnificent aesthetic and mechanical condition: Exterior: The gold finish retains a deep and warm luster. It shows light micro-scratches and minor superficial signs typical of time and careful use over 50 years. No major dents. Personalization: Expert note: The top face of the cap bears an elegant monogram engraved with intertwined initials of its original owner. Mechanical: The lighter has been tested and works perfectly (see photograph with the flame lit). The roller turns smoothly and the valve holds gas correctly. (Note: For international shipping safety regulations, the lighter will be shipped empty, without gas or stone. It is delivered without its original case). Shipping The item will be carefully protected and securely packaged, with insured shipping and an international tracking number. An unbeatable opportunity to acquire an timeless luxury item that will add an unparalleled touch of sophistication to any desk!
