Exceptional and very rare complete set of 6 individual plates in color decomposition belonging to Paradise, Canto 14 ("Apparition of Christ") of the famous work "The Divine Comedy" by Dante Alighieri, illustrated by the surreal genius Salvador Dalí. This technical lot of great pedagogical value allows, step by step and color by color, the successive printing stages and the overlay of inks necessary to build the final image. It is a unique testament to the masterful engraving work and chromaticism carried out for one of the most monumental art editions of the 20th century. Notable details: Iconography Premium: The "Apparition of Christ" is one of the most iconic, beautiful, and sought-after mystical motifs in the entire Dalí series, endowed with celestial illumination and great spiritual force. Historical Quality: Originally issued between 1960 and 1963 by the prestigious firms Joseph Forêt and Les Heures Claires. This monumental project required hand-carving more than 3,500 wood blocks and three years of meticulous artisanal work.
