Alle Auktionen / Zeitgenössische Kunst / Santicri (1992) - Legold XL (black and gold marble)
Santicri has participated in numerous internationally renowned art exhibitions. Among the most significant, in 2022 he exhibited his works at the prestigious Palazzo Grillo in Genoa, and in 2023 he was present at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in New York, thereby expanding his visibility in both national and international contexts. Santicri was recognized among the Best-Selling Artists of 2024 by Artmayeur, one of the most renowned platforms in the art world. In the same year, he was also included among the top three most searched names on the Catawiki platform, another sign of the growing appreciation for his work. These acknowledgments highlight Santicri’s talent and increasing visibility in the contemporary art scene. Technique: Resin and marble dust Dimensions: H11 x L31 x P15.5 cm Condition: new Certificate of authenticity - hand-signed Edition: open edition Limited edition SOLD OUT The sculpture, reinterpretating a Lego brick with a marble-like effect, successfully challenges artistic conventions. The combination of materials creates a fascinating contrast, transforming a common object into a deep reflection on contemporary artistic perception. Limited run of 100 copies. The serial number shipped may not correspond to the one in the photo. INSURED SHIPMENT The artist established himself in 2024 as one of the most sought-after names on Catawiki, immediately following icons such as Kaws and Banksy. His art stands out in an exclusive context that includes other categories of excellence, such as Rolex, Lego, Louis Vuitton, Porsche, Eames, Macallan, Tintin, Cartier and Pokémon. A talent recognized not only for creative value but also as one of the most promising investments of the year. Born in 1992 in Macerata, Marche, the Italian artist pursued studies in surveying and architecture that led him to collaborate with a resin sculpture craftsman. There arose an ever-stronger need to find himself and unleash his creativity. His works are sold worldwide, collaborating with galleries in Italy and Europe. His art is widely appreciated and cannot be missing among collectors of street art and pop art paintings and contemporary art. "Classifying my art is never easy; I try to convey what my eyes see, my way of perceiving what surrounds me, and I rework it with a design that suits modern times: impactful and memorable."
