Alle Auktionen / Zeitgenössische Kunst / Santicri - Snapshot #47
Santicri has participated in numerous art exhibitions of international standing. Among the most significant, in 2022 he showcased his works at the prestigious Palazzo Grillo in Genoa, and in 2023 he attended the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in New York, thereby expanding his visibility in both national and international contexts. Santicri was recognized among the Best-Selling Artists of 2024 by Artmayeur, one of the most renowned platforms in the art world. In the same year, he was also listed among the top three most searched names on the Catawiki platform, another sign of the growing appreciation for his work. These accolades highlight his extraordinary talent and the increasing visibility of Santicri in the contemporary art scene. Santicri Mixed media, acrylic Dimensions: 70x50x20 cm Certificate of authenticity - hand-signed Unique Work This piece fuses painting and object, transforming the painterly gesture into a conceptual installation. The brush physically embedded in the canvas halts time in an eternal “here and now,” suspending the creative act in its own becoming. The broad, fluid brushstroke becomes the protagonist of a frozen action, transfigured from an ephemeral gesture into a sculptural presence. The artist plays with the ambiguity between completed and unfinished, evoking the memory of the gesture and questioning the role of the object in the artistic process. The insertion of the brush breaks the two-dimensionality of the canvas, prompting reflection on the boundary between art, action, and matter. SHIPPING INSURED. The package is carefully packed. The canvas is shipped ready-stretched on a wooden frame; frame not included. The artist emerged in 2024 as one of the most sought-after names on Catawiki, immediately ranking behind icons such as Kaws and Banksy. His art stands out in an exclusive context that includes other excellence categories, such as Rolex, Lego, Louis Vuitton, Porsche, Eames, Macallan, Tintin, Cartier, and Pokémon. A talent recognized not only for creative value but also as one of the most promising investments of the year. Born in 1992 in Macerata, Marche, the Italian artist pursued a path that, between studies in Geometry and Architecture, led him to collaborate with a resin sculpture craftsman. There arose an ever-stronger need to find himself and unleash his creativity. His works are sold worldwide, collaborating with galleries in Italy and Europe. His art is widely appreciated and is a must-have for collectors of street art and pop art paintings and sculptures, as well as contemporary art. "It’s never easy to classify one’s art; I try to convey what my eyes see, my way of perceiving what surrounds me, and I rework it with a design that blends well with modern times: impactful and memorable."
