Alle Auktionen / Zeitgenössische Kunst / Santicri - Tired face (white and gold)
Santicri has participated in numerous internationally renowned art exhibitions. Among the most notable, in 2022 he exhibited his works at the prestigious Palazzo Grillo in Genoa, and in 2023 he attended the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in New York, thus expanding his visibility in both national and international contexts. Santicri Technique: RESIN MARBLE POWDER, INSERTS IN GOLD LEAF Dimensions: H32 x L17 x D9 cm Condition: new Certificate of authenticity - hand-signed Edition: limited edition The sculpture is varnished with a two-component varnish to give greater gloss and durability over time; the work has hand-decorated gold leaf inserts. Each piece has unique veining compared to others in the same edition. The artist emulates the Japanese Kintsugi technique, born from the idea that from imperfection and a crack a greater form of aesthetic and inner perfection can arise, evoking the symbol of resilience. The serial number shipped may not correspond to the one in the photo. SHIPPING INSURED. Born in 1992 in Macerata, in the Marche region, the Italian artist pursued a path that, between studies as a surveyor and architecture, led him to collaborate with an artisan who makes resin sculptures. There, a growing need to find himself and unleash his creativity emerged. His works are sold worldwide, collaborating with galleries in Italy and Europe. "It is never easy to classify one's art; I try to convey what my eyes see, my way of looking at what surrounds me, and I rework it with a design that fits modern times: impactful and memorable."
