The legendary Mercedes-Benz 300 SL 'Gullwing' is a proven style icon of the highest caliber. Low, wide and extremely fast, it was a luxury coupé for the 'happy few'. Rudolf Uhlenhaut was the chief designer and responsible for the 300 SL. Equipped with gullwing doors and two seats in the cockpit, it was an exceptionally fast roadster with 260 km/h, the fastest street car in the world in 1954!
