Sciolari Roma - Gaetano Sciolari - Wall lamp - Model 105 - Silverplated

Applique model 105 Design by Gaetano Sciolari for Sciolari Rome, Italy – years ’60 Silver plated This refined applique model 105, designed by Gaetano Sciolari for Sciolari Rome in the 1960s, is a perfect example of the elegance modernism that characterizes the production of the famous Italian designer. The structure, plated in bright silver, features a double vertical arm rising from a curvilinear central body, generating a harmonious and symmetrical composition of strong visual impact. The design, essential yet sculptural, combines the geometric linearity of modernism with a distinctly futuristic and architectural taste, typical of Sciolari’s language. The two light sources, placed at the upper ends of the metallic cylinders, diffuse a warm and diffuse light, enhanced by the soft reflections of the silvery finish. The applique embodies the luminous aesthetics of the 1960s, when Sciolari redefined the concept of domestic lighting by merging formal rigor, precious materials, and cosmopolitan elegance. This model, now rare and sought after by collectors, represents an authentic example of high-quality Italian design, capable of integrating naturally into both contemporary interiors and environments with a vintage taste.
